Dear Class,
We have been working hard on writing our opinion essays in class and we are so proud of your hard work and the progress you have made! Also, we have discussed in depth what it means to have an opinion or state a claim and to back that claim up with reasons and evidence. We have asked you lots of questions, either here on our blog or in class conversations about various topics. This was to try to get your brain going and to realize you have many opinions!
Well, now it is your turn! For today's blog post, please write a letter to the class asking an opinion based question (reminding the class to back it up with reasons and fourth grade level conventions). After reading your responses, I will choose the top 5 responses and you will get to vote on what our next blog question should be!
